eCE Shield is a trusted web-based cybersecurity and privacy self-learning program, powered by the eHealth Centre of Excellence and designed by physicians, nurses, and security experts.
eCE Shield supports clinicians and their staff to better understand the cybersecurity and privacy landscapes in healthcare and to empower informed decision-making. eCE Shield is available nationally, in both English and French and has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for 7.5 Mainpro+® credits.
eCE Shield training consists of:
Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Privacy Basics, Social Media for Health Professionals, and Privacy Officer Basics. The eHealth Centre of Excellence offers additional Change Management support to work with learners to support course completion and increase the organizations overall cybersecurity awareness.
